Don't you wish your live was like a movie. Of course I mean the romantic comedy kind, not the screaming bloody horrific kind! I always wanted my life to be like a movie. Maybe a "You've Got Mail" moment or "The Holiday" or even "One Fine Day". I just love romantic comedies and their endings. Of course I did marry Michael and that is a movie in and of its self! He sings all kinds of sweet little ditties to me all the time! haaaaaaaaaa
I am a HUGE day dreamer! HUGE! When I played golf in college I use to day dream that I would be on the cover of Sports Illustrated (of course I am meaning swim suit issue- have you seen my hottie bod at the pool this summer- the full length bathing suits in skirts are totally making a come back). I sit by the phone just waiting for the call- I just know it will come (does that make me crazy???). I have seriously day dreamed about everything and in doing so I often am disappointed when things don't happen like I pictured in my head!
I went to NY with Kelly Ripa and Jennifer Aniston (its okay that I call my friends by their full names, they are so popular that I have to!!) and I totally day dreamed that paparazzi was taking my picture but when I opened People the next week it was just Kelly and Jennifer, oddly I had been cropped out! Those damn editing programs!
Monday night I attended one of our society's most anticipated events- Charolette's Bachelorette Finale Party. Charolette is the the quint essential party planner and event planner! I mean would you expect anything less? While there we noshed on mini Kobe burgers, truffle Swiss dip with tofu sticks and personalized monogrammed Sprinkles cupcakes (PS- aforementioned companies you are welcome for the free plug- I look forward to receiving your monetary thank you in the mail). The Olsen twins were also in attendance. They look so much alike I can never tell them apart except when they have their kids with them. I think its cute that they still wear pigtails and dress alike just like when they were on Full House. I won't lie I was day dreaming at the proposals on the Bachelorette. Even if it is fake or whatever, its still cute and still pulls at my heartstrings (I hope Michael reads this to get ideas).
I think songs have the same effect. I literally started crying this morning listening to Michael's song Home on my way to daily hair appointment. The song has such true meaning for Michael and I since he is NEVER home. Ahhhh is it the time of the month? Why am I so dang emotional?
Reading this you are probably thinking my life is glamorous and amazing, well I won't lie it is but to give you a better portrayal of my true self- my favorite movie is Zoolander. Yep love me some Ben Stiller! I have probably watched it 100 times (usually after partying until 5 am at Ghost Bar or Denny's). So I ask you- what is your movie? Do you day dream like I do?
